The Insult Law

Thank Al for bringing this article from The American Spectator to my attention. Jackie Mason is hysterical.

Insult Law

The Muslims have pronounced their verdict. The cartoon man has been found guilty. The real crime is, of course, not being a Muslim. Now that they have established the crime, they have also pronounced the sentence. Even if you never saw or heard of the cartoon, you deserve to be hit with rocks, your car wrecked, and your embassies destroyed because you are an infidel -- and incidentally, there are no appeals. There was even television coverage of a Muslim religious leader screaming in some unintelligible language. However, on the bottom of the screen the translation appeared. This religious leader was shouting that whoever drew the cartoon should have his hands cut off. This hardly seems for us to be a reasonable penalty for somebody taking a piece of paper, picking up a pen, and drawing something.

Could you picture a Jew doing something like this? Ironically, the cartoonists were not even condemning Islam, they were merely creating a satire of a terrorist. They weren't insulting their religion, they were satirizing a fanatic. But, the Muslims have decided that there are no laws, limits, or boundaries that apply to their behavior. They not only have the right to take your life, they now have the right to rob you of your freedom of expression.

Could you picture a Jew killing anybody for such meaningless reasons? If a Jew gets mad he might sneak into your house and steal your lipitor or he would make a deal with your doctor to lie about your cholesterol number, or just when you have fasted a whole day on Yom Kippur when you finally could eat you would find that he snuck into your house and stole all your pastrami sandwiches.

I never saw a Jew going into meaningless fights. That is why you seldom see Jewish football players. A Jew is not going to take a chance in spraining his neck or tearing a ligament in his knee or wrinkling his clothes just because he was fighting with somebody about catching a ball. He would rather go to a store and buy another ball and avoid the whole problem. That is why there are also no Jewish hockey players. Hockey players spend all their time hitting each other in the mouth with sticks. When Jews saw how Gentiles played hockey that is how Jews found out that instead of becoming a hockey player they would become dentists, and that way they decided to let other people play the game while they found a way to make a profit from it.

Jews are never known to get into unnecessary physical battles. That is why people are never afraid of being attacked by a Jew. Did you ever hear anybody say,
"Don't go into that neighborhood it is very dangerous, there are a lot of Jews there?"
Jews have for so long been accustomed to being threatened and persecuted all over the world that they could never dream of creating needless violence anywhere because they would be grateful to even find a place where they are allowed to live in peace. Jews could never dream of threatening innocent people with inexcusable violence. Meanwhile the rest of the world is reacting to the Muslims with an amazing cowardice. Instead of a collective fury, we are pleading for forgiveness, and promising not to offend them with any more cartoons. Could anything be more perverted? The same people who are not offended by suicide bombers and terrorist killings, murder, mayhem, and destruction around the world have now decided that a cartoon... "OY VEY IS THIS TERRIBLE!"

Everyday Muslim and European newspapers insult and degrade Jews as animals and rodents, which is not only insulting but, additionally, encourages the hatred of Jews. But did you ever hear any Jewish authority anywhere demanding that we find any of these cartoonists so that we can choke them to death or cut them up. Did you ever hear of an Israeli death squad searching for a cartoonist? If the Jewish people applied the same insult standard requiring a death sentence no Muslim would be safe now, anywhere in the world. Could you picture a Jew deciding that he has the right to kill but you have no right to draw an insulting picture?

Nobody has ever died from a cartoon. If the worst thing the Nazis ever did had been to draw cartoons of death camps instead of putting Jews in them, six million Jews would be alive today. When was the last time any country decided to kill a Muslim anywhere in the world because they felt insulted? But the Muslims have created a new international law called the "insult law." This means they have the right to kill you whenever they please, and you have no right to do anything about it. If a Muslim were walking down a street in Israel with a picture of an insulting cartoon in hand, no Israeli would threaten his life. They would be too busy celebrating the fact that it was a cartoon and not a bomb.

  3. these are the highlights of a interview may clear your sick mind

These cartoons have been insulting to our religion and injurious to our feelings. They were meant to insult, provoke and offend Muslims. And they have succeeded. I call on the government of Denmark and the people of Denmark and the rest of Europe to stop insulting other people in the guise of press freedom.

We respect press freedom, but ridiculing and besmirching our religious symbols is not press freedom. There is a conspicuous malicious intent here, and people's right not to be insulted and offended overrides a Danish newspaper's right to insult the prophet of Islam. Besides, we are living in a global village now, and we should respect each other.

People in Europe value their liberties ...

And we value our religion and our prophet (peace be upon him). Press freedom is a great ideal. However, could one argue that Hitler and the Nazis were practising their freedom prior to the Holocaust? We know the Holocaust started with cartoons like this against Jews, and with books like Mein Kampf, and then came Kristallnacht ... and then we know what happened.

These cartoons are a reflection of rampant Islamophobia in Europe, which is very similar and nearly as virulent as the anti-Semitism that existed in Europe, especially in Germany, prior to World War II. This anti-Semitism eventually led to the Holocaust and the deaths of millions of human beings.

You see, when you send out thousands of hate messages against a certain ethnic or religious community every day, you make people hate these people, and when mass hatred reaches a certain point, nobody would object to the physical extermination of the hated community when it happens.

    Q. Did you fear a Holocaust against Muslims similar to what happened to the Jews?

Why not? The Holocaust was committed by human beings, not by citizens of another planet, and Germany, where Nazism thrived, was probably the most culturally advanced European country in the 1930s and 1940s.

    Q. But Europe is now democratic, unlike Nazi Germany?

Yes, but who told you those democracies don't commit genocide? America is a democracy, but we saw recently how this democracy invaded and destroyed two small and weak countries based on lies, while most Americans were duped into believing that Bush was doing the right thing.

  5. I see you guys value other religions so much when you constantly publish anti-semitic cartoons in the Arab press.
    Take your BS somewhere else.
And boo hoo hoo for the Palestinians. They have rejected peace many times and just voted for terrorists. Israel has been on the defensive since 1948, because Arabs are the most intolerant people on this planet.

  7. Bacon eater: Thank you for sharing this article. I am a big fan of Jackie Mason. Not many people know that he also writes political columns.
Your response to anon was unapologetic, just the way I like it. I recommend that you include that response in your next post. Share it with all your readers.

  8. Thank JF, I'm use to dealing with Arab lies on Yahoo message boards and my last ounce of sympathy disappeared with the Hamas vote.

  9. BTW, I only deleted the message because it was exactly the same message I replied to. Probably a cut and paste Arab spam job: notice how it didn't mention the article.

  10. Hi Bacon, I didn't read any of the "Anon" , once I realized what it was.
Read Michelle Malkin, the Islamics got western websites under attack. They are doin a successful job of hacking.
    ..
That's a beautiful article, I think I might copy and past.

You know I didn't even know Jackie Mason was alive.
    ...
Hoo-Ha! Is that "potty mouth" Mason!! I'm glad he didn't kick the bucket yet!
    ..
I just delete Arab propaganda from my site. Pre-emptory and no appeal. A battlefield summary execution. I have no conscience about it. My sense of fair play about the cartoon issue disappeared when the gunmen first stormed the Danish newspaper's offices and threatened the staff.
    ..
The terrorist and terrorist sympathizers and liberal terrorist supporters are getting enough free air time on CNN and CBC, they don't need any more from me.

  11. I fear Mr anonymous was directed here by me to see some cartoons making fun of Christianity to add some balance to the cartoon wars. Sorry about that!

I asked him to think of a name for himself but he seems to lack any imagination.

    Cool blog by the way.

  12. Great blog, man! Keep it up. The Bacon cartoons are hilarious! All of them! :D

Even though I myself am Christian, I believe that evolution and creationism can coexist. My take is who is to say how God created or how long it took him since time is relative anyways? Simply put, I believe the Universe is too organized and engineered to have come from chaos without an intelligence shaping it. I love Science, and I accept evolution, but not necessarily the Big Bang Theory which goes against the Law of Thermodynamics.

That said, some existing force had to act on the mass of matter for it to explode etc, and shape the chaos resulting from it into the laws of science that we have.

Otherwise, according to a chaos theory, many of the Islamic suicidebombs that go off by now would have created other universes. Or perhaps there just isn't a more potent form of explosive to tie themselves to yet?

So on the evolution point, we'll agree to disagree probably. Big deal. Life is dull without differing opinions.

That said, I love the blog, and will link this blog to mine (http://blog.politicalpoopchute.com) and tell my friends to visit yours.

  13. Thanks Johdarr. Evolution doesn't deal with the Big Bang theory, btw(just a slight correction). I'm sure there are theories out there that deal with your Law of Thermodynamics objection, but I'm far from a physicist when it comes to this stuff.
Good to see that you accept my humor.
I make it a habit to blogroll anyone who blogrolls me.

  14. I saw Jackie Mason live in new youk city about 10 years ago, I'm glad to see that he still has it. I was very dissapointed when I learned that he wasn't the voice of the aardvark in "The Ant and the Aardvark" cartoon though.

I have a question for angloamerican: Are all of the anonymous comments to this post from your friend? If they are, tell him that he is much clearer when his spell checker is on.

  15. Anglodude, thanks. I think there might have been different anon posters. One might have been your friend. I have no problem who comes here though. Bring em all, Jewhaters, Atheist haters, Western ideology haters are all welcome.

  18. Anon,Arab cartoons lampoon Jewish and/or Israeli actions and/or the Holocaust. The Danish lampooned radical Islam for the most part.
I really don't think you know much about the Israeli situation by your comments. And I'm not going to try to educate you, because I don't think it will help you.

But I do hope you'll visit this site when you want to call Muslims tolerant and respectful:

Hey...Great site and enjoy your comments.
I'd like to paste something here I found a couple of yrs ago. I think you'll appreciate. Well, I hope so.
The UN partition plan of 1947 was not accepted by the Arab leadership. They planned a Jihad, holy war, against Israel and encouraged the Arabs to leave Israel promising their return after they purged the land of Jews. The great majority of Arabs left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier. Jews had to flee from Arab countries to avoid brutality, persecution and pogroms. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab countries is estimated to be about 800,000. This number is greater than the number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948, estimated as 590,000. Arab refugees were intentionally not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of about 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples' lands. Arab Nations still instill in the descendants of the refugees the hope that someday they will dislodge the Jews in Israel.

The modern State of Israel absorbed all the Jewish refugees from Arab countries integrating them within the modern Israeli Society. This, despite the fact that Israel is a small country (about size of New Jersey) without any of the world's richest resources of petroleum in Arab countries.

For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem (1948-1967), they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.

In the Jewish Bible, Jerusalem is mentioned over 669 times and Zion (which usually means Jerusalem, sometimes the Land of Israel) 154 times, or 823 times. The Christian Bible mentions Jerusalem 154 times and Zion 7 times. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran. Jerusalem is also not mentioned in the Palestinian Covenant.

King David established the city of Jerusalem as the capital of the whole Land of Israel. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem. Jerusalem remained under Turkish Ottoman Empire rule from 1517 to 1917, and under British rule from 1917 to 1948.
