This is why I hate Canadian politics. It is just a joke. You got people worrying about gay marriage. Who gives a crap? Does it change your life if two guys get married? Idiots. Talk about wasting time trying to get religion back into politics when news stories like this are far more important:
Former Terrorist Denied Entry Into Canada
OTTAWA, ONT., Canada, Dec. 6 /CNW/ -- Former terrorist Walid Shoebat has
been refused entry into Canada by Immigration authorities, today. Shoebat is
scheduled to speak at the Simon Weisenthal Center at 7:30 p.m. in Ottawa
tonight and in Montreal tomorrow. He is often invited to speak about his life
as a terrorist and about his transformation from extremist to peacemaker and
activist against terrorism. See: http://shoebat.com
"The refusal by the Canadian authorities to let Walid Shoebat in the
country shows the absurd policies of immigration officials," says Keith
Davies, director of the Walid Shoebat Foundation. "Mr. Shoebat is trying to
educate people about the dangers of terrorism, but is refused entry because he
has admitted to his involvement in terror over 20 years ago. Why should the
Canadian authorities want to silence his important message?"
On September 10, 2006, Shoebat entered Canada without incident when he
was invited to speak on Canadian National TV. He also been to Canada three
times in 2004 and his story has been featured by much of the media in Canada.

This is an outrage. Shoebat has been educating the West for 20 years about the evils of Islam. Why the hell is he being denied? The only threat Shoebat offers is a threat to Jihadists. Where is Harper on this one?
Here is Shoebat on video to refresh you memories. Now again, why is Immigration Canada banning him?
Meanwhile, Abdullah friggin Khadr is still allowed in Canada.
What a joke.
Welcome to CanaDUH!
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of Shoebat. Apparently he goes to Jewish liberal schools and yells at them to stand up for their culture.
It is in our culture to too easily surrender to moral relativism. Shoebat is the antidote.
Educating the western world about the true nature of Islam is going to be a long, hard struggle. We should never give up, never give in to apathy, never give in to ignorance. I don't have much faith in convincing Muslims, they have been brainwashed since birth, but at least we have the advantage of free thought. When our freedom to think is replaced by doctrine, then we have lost the battle. Political Correctness is the first barrier to knowledge that must be pushed aside. Multi-culturalism is the second.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jordan. Shoebat is one antidote to the PC thought-malaise that has set into our society.
ReplyDeleteSome others are Brigitte Gabriel, or Robert Spencer's Jihad Watch.
We need to educate ourselves, and our children most of all, to the nature of the fight. Only then can we begin to win.
And we have to change some policies at Immigration Canada, apparently.
Lets also give it up to Irshad Manji, a great Canadian.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the Islamic figures calling for real reform, she elicites the strongest anger and critism. That must be a good sign. She is one brave woman.
I love your blog, your cartoons are awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pharaoh.
ReplyDeleteJordan, anyone who angers Muslims shouldn't even need a passport.
Yea, where IS Harper on this one?
ReplyDeleteHere is an updated report on Shoebat'sfrom WorldNetDaily:

TRIAL OF TERROR
Canada turns away ex-PLO terrorist
American, who converted to Christianity, exposes jihad, now unfit to enter country
Walid Shoebat, the former PLO terrorist and member of the Muslim Brotherhood who now warns the free world of the impending threat from Islamic terrorism, has been denied entry into Canada for a speaking engagement at a Simon Wiesenthal Center.
Keith Davies, the director of the Walid Shoebat Foundation, told WND Shoebat is a well-known voice "speaking against radical Islam. Obviously they want to have his voice silenced."
The rejection came yesterday from immigration officials at the Toronto airport, even though Shoebat was carrying with him letters showing his good standing with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as well as an invitation letter from the Wiesenthal centers in Ottawa and Montreal, said Davies.
When he arrived at the Toronto airport, he was told he would not be allowed into Canada, and after waiting for several hours, flew back to the U.S., Davies said, even though Shoebat had been admitted to Canada just a few weeks earlier.
"What's most ironic is that he was replaced by another speaker, who happens to be a Canadian citizen (by naturalization) who has admitted to killing (hundreds) of Arabs in gang warfare (during his youth)," Davies said.
That replacement speaker is Zachariah Anani, who often works with Shoebat, Davies said.
"Certainly it was a political move," Davies said, citing a similar incident a few years back when Shoebat was to speak in Vancouver, but "active supporters of terrorism" wanted to have his voice stopped so they made complaints to the border police."

Yet they roll out the red carpet for Allah zombies like Tariq Ramadan. Pure comedy.
ReplyDeleteThe reality, according to me, yes, I reject your reality and replace it with my own. (joke)
ReplyDeleteThe reality is that some religions are a worldview which demands that all human beings believe as they do.
Specifically I am refering to fundamentalist islam and fundamentalist christianity. Neither of these worldviews will play nicely with each other without huge doses of prozac or valium.
In a worldview where there is only ONE TRUTH and it is the truth that they espouse, they will be locked in a continual struggle for dominance and monopoly.
Most people can play nicely with other people. They have the skills to allow others their religious beliefs, (or lack of them), without demanding compliance and subservience to a common creed or dogma.
Fundamentalists, those who believe that there is only ONE WAY or ONE TRUTH and that they have it, are proponents of totalitarianism, whether they are capable of recognizing this fact or not.
Under a heavy handed ignorant bureaucracy all things are possible.
ReplyDeleteBacon, did you ever watch "Big Ideas" on TVO with Irshad Manji. I was always so impressed with her diversity in knowledge. She is just as strong in discussing quantum gravity as she is discussing gay rights in Islam. She should be nominated for the Order of Canada.

ReplyDeleteFortunately Tariq Ramadan is banned from the US and won't be able to promote his book that just came out.
What a joke! Walid Shoebat is as anti-terror as it comes.
ReplyDeleteCanada has serious problems if it bans entry of him - they should be throwing flowers in his direction!
