Note: I can't find a link to the answers. Everyone is on their own. If someone has the answers or wants to take a shot, just leave it in the comment section.

I like tests like this, because I'll take a shot at the answers and then do internet searches to see if I'm right. I admit I'm not a biologist, but thank science, I'm not a creationist retard either. Lots of learning to be had.

  1. I just took a shot at the quiz. I know I didn't score perfect, but I expect to learn a lot researching the questions I'm in doubt about.

    * after a letter means I admit to guessing. I wonder how many I got wrong.

  2. Ah, I see you haven't had a load of fundies in. I guess they're all off studying, it being Darwin Day, and all. :-)

  3. What? no questions on Noah's ark.

  4. Mark, Hovind is probably wishing humans evolved a few more holes by now.

Null, Fundies don't need to study.

Lex, OK, here is an Ark question.

We all know that there are all kinds of weird animals in Australia, but since how they got there isn't written about in the bible, the actual scenario about how they got there is up for debate:

    a) Noah decided to lighten his load as soon as water evaporated enough for land to start to reappear, and he happened to be sailing around Australia when land first reappeared.

    b) Once Noah arrived back in the middle east, he dispersed animals to other continents by placing them on the backs of God inspired whales (who were plentiful because they like water and weren't drowned by the flood).

    c) Back around 5,000 years ago, all the continents were stuck together. The Australian animals were just animals who walked off the Ark and traveled south west before the Great Continental Drift occurred.

Actually, as Eddy Izzard puts it: "in story of Noah's ark, the swimming ones and the flying ones are let off due to a giant loophole..."

  6. In answer to the ark question the correct answer is:

    a) Noah decided to lighten his load as soon as water evaporated enough for land to start to reappear, and he happened to be sailing around Australia when land first reappeared.

I know that I would want have wanted to get rid of all of the weird animals first!

  8. That's right, the existence of marsupials is a challenge to the Noah's Ark concept. Good point.
