HOW DOES A YEC REACT WHEN THEY GET A DOSE OF THE REAL WORLD
I can't help but feel sorry for...oh I mean laugh at....um yeah, laugh at Young Earth Creationist Fundies. There is no way this woman believes in evolution. She won't let her daughters marry an Atheist either. This woman lost it on Trading Spouses on Fox.

thats funny, but have you seen thekidfrombrooklyn.com
ReplyDeletevideo of batday? prettyfunny
That was... hilariously scarry.
ReplyDeleteGod's warrior... Did you see her kids' faces? The little one was terrified.
She needs to go live in a padded room somewhere, where she wouldn't be a danger to herself or her family.
ReplyDeleteGay marriage? Abortion?
No....that woman represents the social ills in America.
I feel bad for the kids. I don't think this was the first (or last) time they had seen their mom this way. Lots of therapy needed, methinks.
ReplyDeleteThat woman represents insanity period.
ReplyDeleteAs a Christian, I really don't consider her to be Christian. Every group has its nutcases, even atheists(mostly the left wing atheists whose heroes are Marx, Che Guevara, Castro, Stalin,Pol Pot, etc,).
Seriously though, even among YECs, this lady is nuts. And these "reality" tv shows like to show off the scum of American society.
Heh, atleast I can look at it, laugh and feel a whole lot better about myself. :)

Of course the producers of the show had lots of filming to choose from, so we saw the worst of her. Of course I don't think all YECs are like this, at least they don't let it all out like she did, to tell us what she really thought.
ReplyDeleteFatso moderates the comments so he can post only the favorable aggrandizing ones. Typical mentality of the species.
ReplyDeleteThat clip has been around for awhile and it is really unsettling. Especially when you consider that this type of person usually votes and those that are relatively unpoisoned by superstitious delusion stay home in droves.
ReplyDeleteAs a Christian, I really don't consider her to be Christian.
ReplyDeleteOf course, she is not a True Christian® like you.
"Fatso moderates the comments so he can post only the favorable aggrandizing ones. Typical mentality of the species."
ReplyDeleteIs this some sort of "stalker-psycho-troll?" I have seen these bizarre comments on other threads here.
Anyway, this is the type of person that would desperately cling to religion. She obviously can not handle the inner-conflict that comes with accepting other peoples beliefs. She sees devils and demons everywhere, and as her dysfunctional type is nothing new, I can imagine personalities like this as instigating witch hunts in centuries past. But what would a psychologist think of her? I am not one...but I think her massive weight problem is perhaps a clue to her dramatics.
ReplyDeleteAnon about the troll: he is a goof from the Yahoo boards. The only reason I don't allow messages automatically is because of his immaturity and ridiculous posts. I let this one go because it wasn't a cut and paste.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this before and I have seen the real thing in a different package, What is really scary is that this is the christian answer to radical islam, I hope she never blows herself up in protest, The lard shower could block out the sun. (I'm a bad man )
ReplyDeleteBushwack, most good Christians are more evil than Atheists like me. I guess God wanted it that way.
ReplyDeleteThis woman reminds me of a hysterical version of Carrie's mother, in the movie, "Carrie."
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the whole family, especially the youngest daughter.
What strikes me as interesting about this whole thing is that athiests are SO determined to prove the non-existence of God. If I don't believe in something, I don't have to worry about proving its not there.
ReplyDeleteWhat this attitude proves to me is that athiests DO believe in God, just choose to mock Him, offend Him, or whatever. Deep inside us all we desire a relationship with God, because that is how He created us. The energy would be better spent talking to Him and letting Him intervene in our lives than trying to disprove Him.
