OBSESSION: Watch It While You Can

UPDATE, AUGUST 12TH 7:30 AM EST, Youtube has removed parts 2-9, so I have decided to link part 1 here as well as an interview about the movie.

UPDATE, AUGUST 10TH 8:30 PM EST, Google has taken the film down again. To watch it, you have to go here to Youtube, and see it in 9 parts.

"Obsession shocked the audience with its carefully constructed, objective, and fact-based examination of radical Islam today.

Powerful would be an understatement in describing the impact of this film."

Drew Mcweeny
AintItCool.com

"It is a brilliant assemblage of archival footage of radical Islamic barbarities perpetrated across the globe, sermons of radical Imams from 24/7 satellite TV and undercover footage from Lebanon, the Palestine disputed territories, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, London and New York.
Obsession is indeed a wake up message to a sleeping American public cowed by fear and menace by radical Islamists in our midst. And yes, the film is distressing that such hate, incitement and barbarity flourishes in the 21st century. But the film rouses the American public into concerted action then it will have served a vital and important purpose."

Jerry Gordon
Former U.S. Military Intelligence officer and Middle
East Affairs analyst for American Congress for Truth

“Obsession is required viewing for everyone. Especially for people who have tried to understate or ignore the threat of Radical Islam to our national security, Obsession shows how real and present the danger is."

Howard Gordon
Executive Producer “24”

"As a retired Air Force Major General who has lived and traveled through the Middle East and has commanded major combat organizations in key Muslim countries, I believe Obsession is a movie that every American ought to see. It is the most accurate description I've seen of the great struggle that the western world will face for many years to come."

Bentley Rayburn
Maj Gen, USAF (Ret)

  1. I watched the whole thing and yes, it is worth watching and listening to with a critical ear. The facts about the religion of islam are quite disturbing since the fundamentalist muslim Bridgeview mosque is in my own backyard where this propaganda is being spewed out to a membership of 2,000+ muslim extremists who eagerly await the "domination" of America for Islam. (There are about dozens of these mosques in the Chicagoland area.) There are often demonstrations in the Chicago area where Muslims carry picket signs with pictures of muslim clerics from the middle east and the words that say "Islam will Dominate" and "Death to America." People write them off as "oh, those crazy fundies" like they do xian fundies and there is a HUGE difference. While xian fundies are awaiting the "end of times", muslim fundies think they can expedite it.

  2. Vile, I know, it is a movie actually.

Stardust, I see you are starting to become a little more "bigoted" wink wink...REALISTIC. My views have changed completely over the last year and a half. I used to be a moderate, now I am a "bigot" too, just like Sam Harris.

I attribute my change to the bombings from Gaza after the Israeli pullout, followed by the cartoon reaction and the clincher was the Hamas election.

I think this movie should be seen by anyone who is on the fence. Apologists like Steven from Digitally Arranged are beyond help. Sean has been very disappointing on the God Is For Suckers board, he must be getting some Muslim tail these days.

  3. Sobering indeed.

I got a little chuckle when they were showing one of the Iranian videos and the music in the background was from the soundtrack Vangelis did for Ridley Scott's Columbus movie. They couldn't even come up with their own music?

  4. Bacon, that was one frightening film.

I took some comfort in the fact that a former Hitler Youth commander and a former PLO member... not to mention the daughter of a PLO ''martyr' were able to escape the mindfuck and think rationally.

Oh, yeah. That film gives one pause. Big time.

  6. That's alright Tommy. No one ever said we had to agree. After all, you can't argue taste. :-)

  7. Bacon, I have experienced firsthand now what a jerk Steven is, if you've been following my back and forth with him on Godis4suckers. He unmasked himself as a snobby academic who forsakes reasonable discourse for insult and disdain.

  8. How true. Jihad is the next enemy the world will be fighting for at least a humdred years. However, I find the video, no doubt an excepllent effort, a bit selective. While it covered well the jihad that impacts Israel, it left out the mayhem it is playing in many other countries, namely Russia, India and Phillipines to name just a few. Even Pakistan which is now the mainspring of jihad in the world was touched only in passing. This murderous ideology that threatens us all cannot be confronted locally or on regional bases but has to fought globally by the wohle world together if we are ever to succeed.

  9. Tommy, I have had numerous confrontations with Steven. Go to his blog, he has done at least 3 posts directed at me.
He is not up for debate, and he will only focus on one point to spin, and misinterpret.
He is also a terror apologist bigtime. Of course, I have been following your discussion with him. He is very selective about what history to use.

Anon, I understand the video emphasized Israel a bit, but radical Islamists are most blatant about their hatred for Israel and the Jews, and therefore there is lots of material to choose from, especially in their own media. But you are correct, almost every conflict on this planet has at least one Muslim group involved.

Not to be an ass, but this made me laugh because the first thing to pop into my mind from recent history was Mel Gibson.

  11. Why in the world do people still insist that Islam is a religion of peace?

  13. Does anybody here know where that al Masri character is, you know, the scary looking creep in the wheelchair with the hook for hand? I would like to push him down a flight of stairs like Richard Widmark did to that old lady in that movie (the name escapes my memory at the moment).

Regarding the Christian kid's blood in the matzoh bit, #1, what did Jews put into their matzoh before there were Christian kids, and #2 since militant Muslims think it is okay to kill Christians as well as Jews, why would they give a shit if a Jew killed a Christian kid anyway?

  14. Don't you guys read whatreallyhappened.com? There are no such things as terrorists, they are freedom fighters. In fact, Israel created Hammas and Al Qaeda, so they could use them as fall guys when the Mossad took down the Twin Towers and set up concentration camps in Gaza. They forced poor, defenseless Arabs into Local Militias (like America's founding Fathers) to protect themselves from the ethnic cleansing of the IDF. The "Israel Lobby" has convinced people that being Anti-Zionist is the same as being Anti-Jewish (I wouldn't call it Anti-Semitism because Arabs are Semites too, but the good kind.)
This, just like the Danish newspaper cartoons, is just another PSYOPS fear mongering tactic to entice the Amerikkkan Sheeple to fight Israel's war on Iran.

    WAKE UP!!!!!!!!

  15. BEAJ--

Great documentary. It is one thing to read about the fanaticism on paper. It is another to see Nasrallah screaming like a lunatic in front of thousands of Lebs giving him the Hitler salute.

  17. Thanks Red Tulips. I think this movie should be linked on as many blogs as possible. This should be thrown in the Moonbats faces, and it should also be seen by those on the fence.

    Well, it got me.
    The radical faction's gotta go.
    I've posted on it. Thanks.

What about the war on xmas, or easter?

  19. RA, many people don't know the history.
I read your post at your blog. You are a very talented writer.
The problem of course with Radical Islam is that Moderate Islam is next to silent, almost in a condoning sort of manner.
Israel has been up against Radical Islam since 1948. Those who use civilians as shields, those who use suicide bombers.

There is no war on Xmas in my eyes, same with Easter. I just view them as family get togethers for Christians and non believers alike.

However there is a war between science and fiction that must be waged. Nobody will die over it though.

Problem is, we can battle over interpretations till the cows come home. The issue doesn't get resolved that way.

    Aw, shucks. Thanks.

I tell ya what, if fundie xtians were as bloodthirsty, I don't know if I'd be quite as loud & abrasive as I am.
Really, they're scared. I would be too, if I were in their shoes. The only reason we get to lip off, is that we live in more civilized countries.
Over there, the gun & the sword rule.
Israel has been up against Radical Islam since 1948. Those who use civilians as shields, those who use suicide bombers.
Truthfully, I've heard rumors the Israelis (occasionally) do the same.
However, on perusing time.com, I came across this:
" Every vehicle, whatever its nature, which travels south of the Litani will be bombed on suspicion of transporting rockets and arms for the terrorists.”

    — Israeli leaflets"
    &
"“The terrible terrorist acts are coming from your areas. [The Israeli army] will act with all its force against the terrorist guerrillas, starting at this moment.”

    — Israeli leaflets
being dropped throughout southern Lebanon, including the coastal city of Tyre"
& I gotta say: I can't see the other side EVER doing that.
There is no war on Xmas in my eyes, same with Easter. I just view them as family get togethers for Christians and non believers alike.
That was a joke. Forgot the emoticon.
However there is a war between science and fiction that must be waged. Nobody will die over it though.
    Fingers crossed.
