Two Tags In One Post

I actually got tagged three times recently, but one of the tags has to do with specific Israeli leaders, and I'm just not qualified for it. Sorry about that Hear, O Israel.

First, I will tackle the tag form Oleh Musings:

1) Name your favorite band and singer. (The singer can’t be from the band)

Favorite band is The Beatles. Favorite singer is Billy Joel.

2) Favorite historical politician (domestic)?(Historical = Dead)

Pierre Trudeau, because he was such a hippy.

3) Favorite historical politician (International)?

Abraham Lincoln, because I can't think of anything that has been said about him that was bad. Well, except from a few slave owners.

4) You’re giving a Hollywood pitch (25 words or less) about your Blog — GO

I'm the Bacon Eating Atheist Jew. My viewpoints generally disturb the majority of the world's population, even though I'm almost never wrong.

5) Other then where you live now, what city do you like?

Aruba is the size of a city, so lets say Aruba.

6) Favorite modern politician? (In office now)

Stephen Harper. He showed back bone with his stance against Hamas.

7) Are you a Wilsonian Idealist or Nixonian Realist in foreign policy?

I had to look this one up. Nixonian. You aren't gonna change people to become you, you need to deal with reality, and hope that others eventually get it.

8)Favorite obscure movie?

The Man With Two Brains is pretty obscure.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Pizza Hut.

10) Choose a music video on YouTube. Why that one?

It was the logical choice for me.

Now I will take on the tag from Atheist Hussy

* We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
* Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
* People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
* At the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
* Don't forget to leave them each a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog.

1. I snore. Or so I've been told.

2. I think once in my life I went a whole month once without biting my nails. I clipped them instead.

3. When I dream, I usually have a full head of hair.

4. I like it when people tell me how smart I am.

5. I've actually changed my opinions about many things since starting this blog, thanks to new information.

6. I wish I was 14 again.

7. I'm not nearly as motivated as I should be. I think I should have accomplished more than I have already.

8. I'm really happy I'm not a young earth creationist. There is a sense of freedom not being wilfully ignorant about anything.

Anyone who wants to be tagged for either or both, consider yourself tagged.

  1. Joe Clark (Joke Lark - as he was referred to back in the day) is still alive, wino. He just seems dead. He's still be an improvement over Dion, however, if he chose to swtich parties...

  2. I missed the dead part. Time to do an editing job.

  3. A few canadian ministers, actual (Stephen Harper, Stockwell Day) or past (Preston Manning) - might have proved to have a backbone regarding their stance against Hamas, but they all three have a major problem: they are all antirationalist creationists from the province of Alberta, the canadian bible belt.

To take a recent exemple, Preston Manning's loony admonishing of Richard Dawkins - comparing his "extreme atheism" to Cardinal Bellarmine's 16th century inquisition - is extremely telling.

Using fire to fight fire is sometimes necessary, but I'll certainly question the pertinence of having such individuals in power during Canada's next federal elections.

  4. Preston Manning is a wilfully ignorant moron for exposing his ignorance the way he did.

I'm not sure exactly if Stephen Harper accepts evolution as fact, the same with an ancient earth.

Canada seems to be running very secular right now, so if he keeps his personal beliefs at home and at his place of worship where they belong, I don't have many gripes right now.

  5. BEAJ: it's all good, man! Don't worry, I don't think I'm really qualified for that one either, after all, all the politicians I mentioned are modern. I don't think I as much as mentioned one pre-Begin politican(scratch that) pre-Bibi politician on my own Meme.

    Thanks for mentioning me, though!
